Best Linux Distro for an Old Laptop
So what is the best Linux Distro for an old laptop? That’s the debate over at Linux.com. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with Ubuntu, but others believed xfce desktop environment which is the most feature full minimallist environment for linux. Debian with Gnome even with KDE works great as well. The laptop presented was six years old and running 1.6 Ghz AMD (forgot the type) with 512 MB ram. In my opinion I would still stick with Unbuntu and maybe go the Debian route.
